The new alternative  treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

iNAP Sleep Apnea Therapy is a new oral negative pressure therapy designed to provide a comfortable and relaxed sleep experience for patients suffering from mild to moderate severe obstructive sleep apnea and snoring.

The iNAP eliminates the need for a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure mask (known as a CPAP), humidifier and pressurised air which a significant percentage of people can't tolerate.

Instead, the iNAP uses a discreet, soft oral interface with a pocket-sized console to ensure you're getting the best night's sleep.

The iNAP comes with a portable battery-powered console and has an easy-to-clean saliva container, making it a perfect travel companion for OSA patients.

iNAP is an ultra portable solution with a 5-7 night built-in rechargeable battery designed to provide a comfortable sleep experience for patients suffering from mild to moderate Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and snoring.

iNAP is available to the following patients:

  • For a patient who has been diagnosed with OSA but failed or never started  treatment

  • For travel where the CPAP machine will not be taken

Initially the iNAP is available for rentals in the below capital cities. The  iNAP will be rolled out to a wider network in the coming months. More details TBA soon.

The iNAP rental is $100 for 2 weeks plus the purchase of an $120 Oral Interface and Tube.

How does the iNAP work?

During sleep, the iNAP sleep therapy system creates a negative pressure within the oral cavity itself. The negative pressure pulls the tongue towards the upper palate therefore pulling the soft palate forward (increasing the size of the oropharyngeal airway). This keeps the oropharynx patent during sleep therefore preventing apnea-hypopnea caused by restrictive breathing. Once pressure is achieved the pump stops until the seal is broken.
